Big Eddy Park

Located seven miles north of Vernonia on Hwy 47. Named after a large eddy in the Nehalem River, this scenic park has large fir trees, open play ground, fishing, canoeing, and a non-motorized boat launch. The park has a total of 35 camping sites, 14 with full RV hookups. Near by you'll find the Banks-Vernonia Linear State Park and the Jewell Elk Refuge.

Camp Wilkerson

This 280 acre secluded, forested site is a favorite among youth organizations and other groups. It's easy to "get back to nature" at this beautiful park with 24 Adirondacks (3 sided camp shelters), numerous tent sites, and a rustic day lodge complete with cooking facilities to accommodate groups of up to 250 people. Take a big step up from a tent and check out our 2 room cabins. Bring your horses, ride the trails and camp in on of our horse corral tent sites.

Hudson Parcher Park

Located one mile northwest of Rainier. Turn off U.S. 30 onto Larson Rd., then 1/3 mile to park entrance. Hudson Parcher Park is popular with family groups, sport groups and others looking for peaceful forest and field camp sites. The park offers: 18 RV spaces,tent camping, a cabin/cooking facility for a party of up to 66 people, ball parks, soccer field, basketball court, 3 playgrounds, covered picnic areas and easy access to fishing, boating or windsurfing on the nearby Columbia River.

J.J. Collins Memorial Marine Park

This park is only accessible by boat for a wildlife island adventure. Primitive campsites and a covered picnic area offer a great opportunity for island camping.

Located 2 miles upstream from Gilbert River Boat Ramp and 7 miles from the confluence of the Columbia RIver and the Multnomah Channel.

Located one mile north of Scappoose off U.S. 30. Turn east on West Lane Rd. Drive 3/4 mile to Honeyman Rd and turn left. Located adjacent to the Scappoose Industrial Airpark.

A comfortable, shaded view of this growing rural airport makes the Scappoose R.V. Park a unique spot for picnicking or camping at one of the 6 RV sites. So, fly in and enjoy a picnic at the park!
